We have trails for hikers or bicyclists, boat rentals for
the Saco River and any of the numerous lakes and ponds, snowmobiling
and cross-country skiing trails, downhill skiing and snowboarding
at Shawnee Peak, hunting, fishing, golfing, skijoring, dog
sled races, fall foliage, summer road races and numerous cultural
events and festivals, including the Mushers Bowl/Winter Carnival,
Lakes Brew Fest, Maine Blues Festival, throughout the thirteen
communities that make up the Greater Bridgton Lakes Region
Chamber of Commerce. Our magnificent surroundings are only
part of the charm.
Getting Here
The Greater Bridgton Lakes Region Chamber of Commerce Information
Center is located less than one hour from Portland, 1.75 hours
from Portsmouth, New Hampshire and three hours from Boston.
From Portsmouth and Boston: Take I-95 North to Maine Turnpike
exit 48 (formerly exit 8). Follow Route 302 West for approximately
40 miles to Bridgton. Stay straight through the first traffic
light in Bridgton and look for the Greater Bridgton Lakes
Region Chamber of Commerce Information Center just ahead on
the left.
From North Conway, New Hampshire: Follow Route 302 East through
Fryeburg and downtown Bridgton. At the traffic light, follow
Route 302, which turns right. The Greater Bridgton Lakes Region
Chamber of Commerce Information Center is approximately a
half mile ahead on the right.

provide commercial and commuter air services to major US metropolitan
areas and Canada. Portland is served by AirTran, Continental,
Delta, JetBlue, United and US Airways. Manchester is served
by Air Canada, Continental, Delta, Southwest, United and US
Airways. Eastern Slopes Regional Airport (IZG, 207.935.2050)
in Fryeburg, Maine and Portsmouth International Airport at
